Natural stone is a wonderful material to work with. Each grinding changes the appearance, sparkle and color of the stone. One never knows quite what patterns will appear when the final grinding and polishing are done.
On a trip to Ivigtut, approx.5 km. from Grønnedal, Greenland, I was introduced to the raw stone and became fascinated by it's natural beauty. I brought back 90 kg of rough stone aggregate to work with.
